Our Journey

Founded by Shawn Tarter, RealTime Reservation, formerly the Ipalapa Corporation, was conceived with a singular mission: to enhance the guest experience while providing management with innovative technology to better target sales opportunities and manage operations. These principles persisted through the company’s change of name in 2016, which now reflects the expanded features and capabilities of its software platform. Today, the company employs forty professionals across development, R&D, client services, administration, sales, and marketing.

The RealTime Reservation platform was built with significant input from hotel clients every step of the way. Lengthy and complex security reviews were completed, and we are accepted at a majority of global hotel brands. This foundation has made us a valued partner and a critical component for our clients, and the feedback from their guests confirm our utility.

Since its inception, RealTime Reservation has seen consistent growth in product development, client acquisition, revenues, and innovation. Our client list is broad and wide, and we have never had a single property leave the platform once engaged. Each year we have continued to add clients, expand our applications, and help hundreds of properties with newfound opportunities.
